A round vase with orange peel, lustre type glaze effects
This round vase, made with Dobles standard stoneware clay, has a Shino glaze on the inside and part o the outside. It was fired in one of the hottest parts of the Anagama kiln where it acquired a good build-up of fly ash, giving some parts an orange peel, lustrous finish. All of the exterior has a shiny surface due to the 48 hour firing and high temperatures reached.
